Perhaps the biggest urban forestry goof in the region? Entire streets in this section of East Kitchener have their trees split in half due to hydro wires.

After the parade this morning, I went down for a wander around Doon and Homer Watson Park. To my surprise, the fall colours are not yet at their peak, although a few more days should do it.
The Grand and Pioneer Tower from Doon:
The Grand from Homer Watson Park (anyone else remember clambering down the sand cliff to explore the river and catch fish?
And the Museum, which is brightly coloured all year long (busy today too!)
