    The Paris Agricultural Society has been bringing neighbours together at the Paris Fairgrounds since 1858.     The Paris Fall Fair, held each year over Labour Day Weekend is truly a jewel in the crown of Ontario Fairs. For over 150 years the annual event brings neighbours near & far together to celebrate the rural way of life.

    One of the nations largest 5 day fairs, The Paris Fair hosts over 80,000 people who all enjoy world reknowned performers of every genre. A true community event, the Paris Fair displays over 12,000 exhibitions from jams & quilts to horse shows and photography.

    With so much to see, do & experience everyone should spend Labour Day at The Paris Fair…afterall it truly is ‘Where Friends Meet’.

    Special Passes:
    Handicapped Vehicle Pass
    These will be available prior to the fair by contacting the gates director, Bob Packard - 647-6589, or the fair secretary, Nancy Frey - 647-4224. These will allow people in need with special parking places within the fair ground. Enter through the back gate.

    Exhibitor Vehicle Passes:
    There are meant for exhibitors bringing in livestock and equipment only. One per exhibitor number will be allowed. These are available prior to the fair by contacting the gates director, Bob Packard - 647-6589, or the fair secretary, Nancy Frey - 647-4224.
    Enter through the back gate.

    Group Passes:
    If a group or business wish to purchase passes for their members prior to the fair, this can be arranged by contacting Lois at the Chamber of Commerece @ 705-647-5771 or 866-947-5753 prior to August 31/09. www.tritownchamber.ca Special packages including week-end passes, midway passes, etc. are available. Makes a great bonus or gift.

    General Information:
    Please leave your dog at home.
    No skate boards, bikes, or backpacks will be allowed past the main gate.

    Since 1839 The Cambridge Fall Fair has reflected the people, flavours and culture of our city and the agricultural community which surrounds us. The 171st Cambridge Fall Fair opens September 9th to the 12th in Dickson Park, at Parkhill Road and George Street. Cambridge Fall Fair is one of the oldest such events in Ontario. The Cambridge Fall Fair is located at Dickson Park in the Heart Of Cambridge.

    Directions

    From the 401 Hwy coming from the east take hwy 24 into Cambridge, turn right on Park hill Rd, follow the signs.

    From the 403 head North on hwy24 turn left onto Park Hill Rd.

    From the 401 Hwy coming from the west take hwy 8 into Cambridge, turn right onto hwy 24 then turn right on Park hill Rd, follow the signs.

    Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association (LWNA) Fall Fair

    Friday, September 10, 2010 to Saturday, September 11, 2010
    Friday 5pm until 10pm and Saturday, 11am until 11pm

    On the Friday, Sept 10th ... the evening will be dedicated to the rides. GTA Midways will have 10 rides and 8 games plus cotton candy, and candy apples. On the 11th there will be a dunk tank, PearPita, Hogtails, WokWagon, Sweet Ink Designs and of course a pizza place serving up some chow at the outdoor food court. Come watch the Y do Zumba, martial arts with weapons, and Laurelwood Bootcamp. For the children there will be a clown, magician, storytime by the Library, crafts by Lucy's Mudhouse, cookie decorating, facepainting by Boston Pizza (using pizza sauce ... and cheeze!!) and of course a bouncy castle. Canadian Tire has donated over $1000 worth of prizes for our Silent Auction!!! Come and enjoy Movie Under the Stars sponsored by Scotiabank! There will be tons to do!
