Wife and I are established professionals, and looking to make the jump to Uptown from suburbia. We used to live in an urban condo in Ottawa, but moved back to Waterloo Region for career interests. We really really miss being able to walk to everything, and the whole vibe of living in an active, bustling area.
Our price range would extend to $400,000 max, and ideally the unit would be 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom. The second bedroom wouldn't have to be particularly large, as it will only be used as an office and spare room for guests.
So far we're looking at Seagrams, Bauer, and the Alexandra. Anything else that we're missing? If it were your dollars, where would you be looking? As much as I wouldn't mind, downtown Kitchener is not an option.

That area is one of the most booming places in the Region right now (Erb/Caroline).
