We're now two and a half weeks away from the event and I hope to see you all there! It's supposed to act as a physical forum to compliment the virtual forum we've created here on WW. The schedule is mostly full, but if you're still interested in giving a talk please send an email to livable@wonderfulwaterloo.com. Each day this week I'll be announcing one of the speakers.

Sean Geobey is a PhD Student in Management Science at the University of Waterloo. He'll be talking about developing the region as a "cluster of incubators".

Is there any chance that the presentations will be posted online? I'm going to be away on vacation that week so I will be unable to attend

    CONGRATULATIONS on a Successful Event!

I heard some very positive feedback from people in the audience! The speakers were interesting and the topics were current and applicable. This will definitely become an Annual Event.

The event went really well: good speakers and a nice turnout (~75 people throughout the day). Thanks to the Kitchener Downtown Business Association & Williams for providing desserts. The KDBA also provided a $25 gift certificate which was given away in a random draw at the conclusion.

We have hours/gigabytes of video to edit, compress & upload, but they should all be up by the end of the week. The event was filmed in HD (1920x1080) so the picture quality looks great. Here's the opening video...

Here's the Speaker's Photo. The film was set at 60fps so I might be able to extract a higher quality image. If not we'll purchase the image SnapKW took.
