How many tower cranes will there be in Waterloo Region in 2010?

This is proving to be a banner year for construction in the Region, with many major construction projects anticipated to begin.
For tower cranes, we can already count on the 4 we already have:
- UW Quantum Nano Centre
- UW Engineering 5
- the42
- Charles/Benton Parking Structure
In addition to these, how many do you think we will have in total???

The big “lift” of the heavy steel trusses (60 tons) will be taking place next Tuesday, July 13th. We are expecting three cranes on site.
PS: This is for Environment 3.
Those will be truck cranes or tracked cranes. Tower cranes won't be erected for a lift of a day or two, nor do they have anywhere near a 60 ton capacity.

Just today, I saw a truck carrying sections of a tower crane turn into the new construction site on Lester St., between Seagram Dr. and University Ave.

Crane sections are longer in sight. Walked around the construction site and couldn't see them. Don't know what to make of it.
Ok...I haven't been up there in a while, so I'll rely on others.
I guess this one's a maybe for now.

So I think we're at 14.5 hah.
I wonder when Westmount Grand will push us up to 15 by completing it's crane.
Ahh I remember my foolishness by guessing only 8 for the year.
Its been a very successful year as far as new development goes I would say.
