Good news if you're looking to attend: you didn't miss anything because it's in 6 days, January 26th.

I wonder how they're going to do it, have small groups coming up with ideas or what?

I feel silly now haha, I just thought I had seen the 16th or something. I will hopefully stop in there for a bit, I'd like to check out what it's all about.

Bump (just for those who didn't see it in the calendar).

I'm going to show up tonight, anyone else (who hasn't already stated)?

I'm going to try, but it doesn't look good. I'm guessing it doesn't matter if you didn't RSVP?

A sad thing about most municipal meetings is that they're rarely full to capacity. As such the organizer usually has some leeway to let others in (and often will).

The Hauser Haus Banquet Facility is a 7200 sq ft facility which can be divided into three sections. It includes a catering kitchen with walk in refrigeration, grill kitchen and bar services, and overlooks both the Sun Life Financial Arena and the Waterloo Swimplex.

I believe it's the room when you go up the right-side stairs at the entrance, then directly infront there's a door which leads to another set of stairs. There should be a sign there too.

Was at this tonight only for half of it because I had stuff to do. Some good ideas got thrown around I'm sure someone who was there longer will post a re-cap

One good thing the mayor talked about was funding for a water feature at the Public Square. She wouldn't say who it was but funding is in place.

Also she said the Hotel at the barrel yards is scheduled to start this spring and also said she convinced the developer to put a daycare service in the project and also a medical office if I heard that right.

Yes the turn out was impressive. It was also nice to hear other people's vision of Uptown and how they would like to see it accomplished. Our table had some pretty good discussions going, but I would have like to hear more support voiced for LRT. Is anyone going to the TriTAG meeting at the downtown KPL tomorrow night?

Any word on the apartment towers (aka phase "one")? And did she mean the daycare and medical office would be in the hotel or just part of the overall project?
