Youth video contest call for submissions now open
April 27, 2012 | City of Kitchener | Link
Youth aged 12 to 25 are invited to submit original videos, film and animations to the City of Kitchener’s 2012 youth video contest.
The winning videos, and up to 10 honourable mentions, will be exhibited on The Cube, two sides of the Berlin Tower, at the top of Kitchener City Hall. The Cube showcases information on community festivals, events and public art.
The deadline for submissions to the youth video contest is June 28.
Three winners will receive cash awards of $300 each. Plus, up to 10 honourable mentions will be exhibited for a minimum of one month.
All submissions must be three minutes or less in length. There is no audio capability, so video must not depend on sound for its impact.
Winners will be announced by Aug. 31. The winning videos will be projected on the Cube in September.
