With their sold signs out front, I wouldn't be surprised if these properties become the next student housing developments on Marshall Street...

I believe that 64 a and b sold for a combined $324,900 and 68 sold for $618,000. A $1,000,000 land purchase, essentially. These babies must be making some money for that kind of outlay (before demolition and construction).
I rather liked the previous building on site--the 2.5s red brick walkup. Used to live in such a building in Waterloo.
Anyhow here's the @renderporn (snicker)

Ready for Sept 1st.
One thing that intriques me is how quickly these buildings go up compared to similar-sized projects in Toronto. The construction technique could certainly be put to good use here, although with better exterior design aesthetics.

This is one of the better looking student factories I have seen. I like the look of the grey brick at the bottom of it. For some reason, hopefully just because it was completed the yellow brick on the front looks to be 2 different colours?
looks okay to me , not perfect but better than stucco.Originally Posted by T-Bone
