People aren't "bewildered" or astounded by snow in April. They're sick and tired of it.
-
It was a Tim Horton's for quite a while. I remember because on that block I remember counting three of em within about a kilometer stretch of road. :RpS_rolleyes:
-
Thanks benton, I'll make sure to hit 'em.
-
I'd suggest checking a site called Wonderful Waterloo. They have lots of topics in their forums about exactly what you're looking for. Hope this helps.

I think someone has hid luckee's medications.
-
Ride in style, ride on the Gangam Style!
-
Wow Luckee, talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill. You'd think your councellor ran over your dog or something. Get a grip.
-
now all this needs for the finishing touch is the orange noodley sculpture from the old courthouse placed nicely in the middle of the courtyard.
-
I'm surprised sheeple are still falling for this hoax. McLiar is never going to provide the money to get this done.
-
Great addition to the city but wouldn't this building have been better served downtown or mid town near Grand River Hospital?
-
I wonder if this is a proposal for the Bramm yards?
-
Maybe you should be concentrating on the lecture instead of texting your boyfriend. Snip snap! :RpS_biggrin:
-
At least this one doesn't seem as ugly as all the others.
-
I'm being completely serious. To me it looks like the rocks are barely high enough to sit on and function as bleachers. If they wanted bleachers they should have installed bleachers like any other...
-
Nice to see they lined the boundary line with big rocks...
-
Wow, mpd bought that trollbait hook line and sinker lol.
-
Jeez dude, who pissed in your cornflakes? Did the developer of this condo run over your dog or something?
-
-
Does anyone know if there was a rough estimate made about how many people would be working here? I know it's impossible to know for sure but did anyone ballpark the number? Also, with this...
-
Now THAT'S what I call a "Sausage-Fest" :RpS_scared:
-
For everyone suggesting WART as the name WTF! Who in their right minds would think that acronym is suitable for marketing or getting anyone interested in riding the LRT?
-
A friend of mine is a temp there and she just found out today all the temps are being laid off starting this week.
-
The other no vote came from Cambridge councellor Claudette Miller.
-
I can't believe Halloran voted "No" to every single issue including the $10 million study on how to increase ridership in Cambridge to expediate phase 2 of the project. Anyways congrats Waterloo...

Here's an article from 570 news with a rendering of what the renovated building will look like.

-
I hope the other sections of the building will have more glass and less fake stone cladding. The glass looks great and the stone is just a boring plain old grey. But I guess it goes well with a lot...
-
I still can't believe they tore down an amusement park (and a big chunk of my childhood memories with it) for this. Even the new Moose Wanooski's took a turn for the worse. That patio was great!
-
Ah the excuses and whining start flowing immediately eh? How different would your response be if Redman won? You'd probably say it was a fair and balanced system and the people stood up and spoke...
-
Does anyone hear that sound? It sounds like Stephen Woodworth laying the beats on Redman. How come nobody posted where his victory party was going to be? That seems to be the only happening party in...
-
Too bad for the Liberals that they won't even be the official opposition party after all is said and done. Looks like the NDP is going to swoop in and claim that prize. To me it's a pretty pathetic...
-
well duh it lowers their costs. Choppers was the last cheap grocery store with a deli.
-
Except that they got rid of the deli which is stupid in my opinion.
-
you don't vote on weather he's a nice guy or not. You vote on if he can get the job done.
-
That's pretty funny. He's got my vote.
-
lol I guess that makes sense.
-
Can you explain how are they going to extort money from the developers?
-
-
Col. Sander's Express Train to Tasty Town. And it will make specific stops at all the local KFC's.
-
Does DARE have anything similar at their facility?
-
Does anyone else think this timeline for the garage is a bit ambitious? They're only giving themselves 5 months to build this thing.
-
I thought this was a discussion on the Fusion Homes project and not a debate on weather Toronto is a world class city. :RpS_rolleyes:
Anyways, Spokes when you spoke to the president of Fusion did...
-
maybe you should just read your reciept a little bit more carefully next time and stop blaming everyone else for your screw ups.

If I don't see the Ultima Tower in downtown Kitchener by 2031 I'll be greatly dissapointed.

I always wondered what the reason is for those blocks. Does anyone know why they do that to abandoned gas stations?

Minimum requirement for working in production at Christie is a college diploma. The pay is decent for a manufacturing company where starting salary is around $20-$21/hour and it can go up to $25....
-
Ya I know, I work at Christie  Honestly, the quality isn't an issue since Christie holds over 40% of the world's market share. From what I hear since we already have a contract to supply...
-
What's unfortunate about the Empire Theatre is that they're fitting all of their screens with European built Barco digital projectors instead of Christie projectors which are all locally designed and...
-
That's probably because you guys aren't doing it right.

I wonder how much these bollards cost to replace and what the annual budget is? I've seen a few already like that.
