Youth of Waterloo Region

Once again, I would like to welcome everyone to the Youth of Waterloo blog!

Transportation (rapid transit in particular) has been an uprising concern for the region lately. The debate of installing LRT, BRT, or doing nothing at all has caused our politicians to split up drastically. The decision regional councillors make this June will change the history of our region, and WE are the ones who will be affected down the road by good, or poor decision making. We are the region's future so it's important that we, the youth of Waterloo region, understand what's going on here and share our views on issues such as transit.
