Looking Back, Moving Forward: Transit in Waterloo Region, this exhibit examines the past, present, and future transit systems in the region. Come explore the systems of rail, road, and air through artefacts and documents from the Region of Waterloo Archives. Did you know that visions of a local rail system existed as early as 1852 when the Galt & Guelph Railway Company was incorporated? The display cases in the lobby of Regional Administrative Headquarters will look to the past and present systems while the Archives Research Room will focus on the future light rail transit system.
