There seems to be alot of development info that turns up on this site, that my web resources must not touch upon.. so I was curious if I could summon your help in possibly finding the layout or proposed development of the Providence Point that Deerfield Homes is constructing behind my house on the corner of Ira Needles and Highland. they have been steadily pushing dirt around for about 2 weeks.. and it looks similar to when they started!
I have searched the internet but come up empty handed. Anyone know anything about this by chance?

I notice they are still calling out 8 and 12 level buildings.. A neighbor with some city connections thought they had squashed those from the site... Maybe he had some duff info!

It was a good idea for a thread, especially if the 8 and 12 storey condos get built. This is also a pretty drastic change for Eastforest Homes (Deerfield), which has not really ventured out of building your 35 foot single family homes or suburban townhouse complexes.

Oh, wow. Where are the sidewalks to actually get into that whole thing (from all directions)? What a mess indeed.

I have been on the Deerfield website many times, but they have very limited information on there.
Just said 8 & 10 Plex and Midrise buildings... but the Midrise info is 'Coming Soon'

So they have set the grade now. As it turns out, the people living in this site will be able to stand in their backyard and look straight down into my backyard. the height at which they have placed the sewers are the equivalent to my first floor ceiling.
The best parts of all of this, is that my lawn has been surveyed by 3 different company's and all of them have placed different pegs to corner my lot. It's rather interesting. Not only that, they have wasted loads of cash by building a fancy fence at the back of the neighboring complex (1 year ago) only to be completely tearing it down and moving the fence line in by about 3 feet so that they can install a retaining wall.
I will have to get some pics if I can tonight..

Yeah that does look funny at first but I imagine the plumbing job is the value for the entire site which includes 11 similar size buildings and the possible condo towers. I could be wrong though.

Ahhh, so that's what this development is.
Perhaps it's just because the area around this development isn't finished yet, but these buildings are very prominent in their placement at the top of the hill when you are approaching on Ira Needles from the north. Hopefully they do a good job of these, or they could become quite an eyesore.

Going by the site recently it looks like the plans are at a halt almost looks like it is for sale but I have only found individual units for sale on the internet.
Their website is also a dead link now.
