If you haven't gone to one of the local Roller Derby bouts, you are truly missing out. Non-stop excitement with plenty of thrills and spills. The shows are family friendly with lots of kids of all ages usually attending. I know I'll be going to this one.

After party is at the Chainsaw. Come out and support the interesting side of Waterloo Region sports. London gets over 1000 people coming out to their bouts. Surely Waterloo Region can do that.

The sports team that placed second only to the Rangers in popularity in the Waterloo Chronicle Reader Choice Awards will be having a bout against Buffalo this Saturday (July 10th, 2010).

The Tri-City Thunder will be crashing and flashing against the Lake Effect Furies out at the old New Hamburg Arena. Doors open at 6:00 pm, bout starts at 7:00 pm.

If you haven't attended a match yet, you really are missing out! The last match against Rochester's Roc City Roc Stars was filled with action with the Thunder coming out on top and 2 Roc Stars heading off the track with injuries.

Show your home town pride and come on out to the derby!

Looks like the next local Roller Derby game is on July 16th at the Waterloo Rec Centre. It is a double header against London and beer will be served. Sounds good to me.

Another Derby Bout in Uptown this weekend, Saturday, August 27th at 6 pm. Two Toronto teams coming in to duke it out with two of our home teams at the Waterloo Rec Centre. Beer will be served.
