The Downtown Card

What is it?
The Downtown Card is available to employees of businesses located downtown as well as residents residing in the 4 downtown neighbourhood associations. The card entitles the bearer to savings and discounts at all participating businesses and retail establishments. Some conditions may apply.
The Downtown Card was developed in 1997 to encourage Downtown Employees to shop and save at the establishments throughout the Downtown. Participating members offer discounts on their merchandise/services to card holders.
The Downtown Card is provided by the Kitchener Downtown Business Association. To obtain a card and a list of participating businesses or for information on how you can become a participating business, please call the KDBA at 744-4921.
Kitchener Downtown Update - March 2008
The downtown card will be getting a make over in 2008. We are expecting to make significant changes to the program in support of a shop local focus with distribution to downtown employers, local neighbourhoods and valued customers throughout the region.
The existing card is still available for those interested in promoting the current program until the launch of the 2008 downtown card.

The "Downtown Card" is getting a renewal. In the last year, high demand and interest for the card from businesses and employers has lead to an exciting makeover. The project is finishing soon, and you can expect to see a launch of the new "Incentive Card" in September 2008.
The team is out signing up current and new business members to the program. If you would like to have your business included in the offering, please call the KDBA and someone will be out to see you. Help be part of the renewed program and support our local busines community.
